JOHANN GEORG MARSTELLER 1695-1751

In 1735, Johann George purchased 200 acres in Upper Saucon Township. This land was located southwest of  St. Paul's Blue Church in Coopersburg, (approx. two miles by car). Part of that land, more specifically the areas around the 14/15th hole,  is now occupied by Locust Valley Golf Club, just near the border of Lehigh and Bucks counties. The county border markers can be found on the golf course. Land research is underway to locate original homestead site.

He was a member of church council at St. Paul's Lutheran Blue Church in Coopersburg. On April 2, 1741, Johan Georg became a naturalized citizen.
